Winter Marquee Wedding

In December 2017, just at the start of the first period of major snow fall, we were with Good Intents in a beautiful location close to Hay-on-Wye on the shores of a lake. Their expert team erected the stunning marquee in far from ideal conditions but the result was more than worth it as you can see from these photographs. The marquee was built around an unusual centrepiece, a VW campervan cocktail bar!

Providing a suitably stylish backdrop for this fantastic wedding including a dance floor which was used for their drinks reception before dinner as well as partying into the night after, windows spanning the length so the guests could enjoy the view of the lake all from the comfort of the heated marquee. 

With the guests seated on long banqueting tables they enjoyed shared anti-pasti platters, a main course of belly pork and champ and ending in customised hostess trolleys being wheeled in by our waiting staff, full of sumptuous desserts.
